Amber Valley
Amber Valley is known as the Heart of Derbyshire.
It lies within the East Midlands area of England, just to the north of Derby,
and includes towns such as Heanor, Ripley, Alfreton and Belper. Many smaller
villages have their own attractions: Denby has its well-known pottery, and Crich has the famous
Tramway Museum.
Whether you live in the area or intend to visit, whether you know the area well or not at all, you are sure to

Out and about
Crich Tramway Village. Home to the National Tram Museum. You can ride the trams all day!.

Lea Gardens. Known for the rhododendrons and azaleas, but open only for a few weeks each year. Check before travelling.
