There's always a catch

We were delighted to win a Potato Peeling Machine on the Tombola at the Cats Protection Gala Event.

Our excitement quickly turned to disappointment on arriving home, reading the text on the box and learning that we couldn't use our new toy straight away.

We were pleased, though, that our day had been pleasant and worthwhile in adding a small amount to the fund that keeps the cats fed and well-cared for while they await a new, permanent home.
